Below is my opening statement at today’s public hearing for the inquiry into the issues facing diaspora communities in Australia. The inquiry is conducted by Australia’s Senate Standing Committees on Foreign Affairs Defence and Trade.
It's not just a 'delightfully' easy to read article, it's that the style of writing opens up the mind to seeing some genuine insights, that I hope will land with people who can 'make it happen'.
And thankyou for extending my vocabulary in both words and history :-)
After all, I'm pretty sure it's not illegal to support communism as a viewpoint, it that's what someone actually thinks, as much as it's not illegal to be Pauline Hanson.
